Fires in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve...

Source: 4x4communityThe CKGR is burning as of yesterday thanks to a runaway fire started at one of the campsites... the self-drivers have already left the reserve and were kind enough to stop at the gate on the way out to report that they had started the fire, it got out of control and that they were sorry. Then they left.
Please, the bush is incredibly dry right now and it is our windy season. Please ensure you make your fires in the designated areas and if there aren't any, far away from the veld in a clear area... tend your fires at all times and make sure they are completely out when you go to bed or when you leave the camp site.
