Moremi is very dry, between Khwai and Xakanaxa even on the wet route the one water crossing is only 60cm deep. First, second and fourth bridges all completely dry. Third Bridge strangely seems wetter than ever and the bridge keeps getting damaged, when I was there last week it was out of use for 24 hrs

Moremi /Chobe November 10, 11, 12 & 13...
In the north of Botswana it rained the last five days in the afternoon. So south of moremi had some "exiting" moments for me when crossing the water! But chobe was fine with the roads. Also Third Bridge (they have a pump there)...

Finally we got stuck near Dead tree Island...

This video shows our 4 x 4 adventure at Moremi Nationalpark. We had to "survive" some waterhole crossings - finally we got stuck near Dead tree Island. We couldn´t help ourself anymore so we had to wait for the support of another 4x4 driver. This region is really remote and we were very lucky as an australian couple arrived at the waterhole. The nightmare of an overnight stay in a roof tent in the middle of nowhere fortunately didn´t come true! Nevertheless Dead Tree Island and the whole region between Third Bridge and Xakanaxa is really fascinating and an amazing landscape jewel. We had many special nature and animal experiences! Enjoy the pictures of our trip between Third Bridge, Dead Tree Island and North Gate!

Received feedback from a customer who arrived in Kasane yesterday (Dec. 21) after 4 days Moremi/Savuti/Chobe:

'Tracks muddy with lot's of water and bumpy but no real hazards'.

Chers,
Hans
