We don't recommend driving to Kubu Island this time of year from the south...

Here some pics from Kubu Island taken a few weeks ago. It looks quite dry for the time of the year...

Kubu Island Update
No difficulties to reach Lekhubu right now. Even taking the short cut across the Ntwetwe Pan is possible.

Rain reported over Lethakane and Kubu Island!
Another 29mm of rain last night...and it's still raining softly...what a great week, it feels like Christmas came early for us this year! 87mm for the week!!!
It looks treasures to go and visit Kubu Island right now...
