In september-october 2012 we would like to make a trip from 3,5 - 4 weeks.
We're thinking of starting in Cape Town and then driving north through Namibia, seeing Victoria Falls and into Botswana.
Will such a trip fit in our timeframe?
And how can we arrange campsites in Namibia and Botswana?
Should we go for a Defender/Landcruiser or is a Hilux-Kingcab also a good car for this trip.

Your intended trip will fit nicely in your timeframe of 3,5 - 4 weeks. So you start in Cape Town and end in?

The most common used 4x4 is the Toyota Hilux 4x4 and this model will do the job easily. Consider a Land Cruiser or Defender as an upgrade that will cost you much more...
