The Limpopo is currently running too high to be crossed at any of the drifts at Pafuri or Mapai. Usually remains so until June. So It's recommended to use the Giriyondo route (bordercrossing just north-east of Letaba in the Kruger NP)

Alternative route (drive & explore) is to drive from Pafuri along the Limpopo to the South, only river to cross the small Shingwedzi. But it's a lot of driving and if you just want to cross into Mozambique Giriyondo is the better place to head for.
