[11:41:26] Hans Schoelink - Come-Along.nl Safari: Can the Boteti be crossed at Khumaga to get into Makgadikgadi NP?

[11:42:01] Hans Schoelink - Come-Along.nl Safari: I was there in January and it was more then a meter deep...
[13:32:39] David Dugmore: Hi Hans, we are crossing the river at Khumaga now the water is just under a metre deep, the ground is hard so not a problem unless in a Landrover with computer under the seat, ...and fan hits radiator as happened to one of my cars!!! The river lecel is dropping unless we get a lot of rain in a short time during the rest of the wet season.
[13:33:51] Hans Schoelink - Come-Along.nl Safari: So only for more experienced drivers with no computer?
[13:34:32] Hans Schoelink - Come-Along.nl Safari: snorkel?
[13:35:00] David Dugmore: Okay for all but the most useless off road drivers, the deep section is only a metre or two across, rest is shallow and ground hard...
[13:35:23] David Dugmore: cars without snorkel to cross slowly...
[13:35:35] Hans Schoelink - Come-Along.nl Safari: yes
[13:35:48] Hans Schoelink - Come-Along.nl Safari: Thanks David for your information!
