Hi Arnold,

In Short Text ;) :

Kasane - Ihaha No problems
Ihaha - Linyanti accessible, Heavy sand final stretch to Linyanti (business as usual  )
Savuti - March roads are off limits. 'Rockbridge' to reach Savuti camp.

Hi Rather late than never. Lovely trip. Conditions are dry on route. The Savuti Channel flowing next to the Savuti camp (coming all the way from the Delta in this river form) is simply fantastic to see as a nature wonder ,in this otherwise dry conditions. In my previous two vists I have not seen this. Zero hasstles to cross. Road to Linyanti from Savuti is sandy at places but that is part of the package. Linyanti (first time there) was a revelation and we camped there alone for a night or two.Is the best kpt secret in greater chobe , especially if you are alone (only 3 camp sites) . be careful where you park on site 1as the local hippo wants to use the highway going past campsite 1 braai area for his grazing session and tries to intimidate you rather than shake paws and use another route for his early evening dining out. All in all , it was as lovely as I have experienced it in the past, but with the added benefit of driving in dry conditions and this fantastic channel at Savuti. Will post a photo or two later
