Xakanaxa to Khubu Island in a day?

Hi
We planned to travel to Kasane from Xakanaxa via Linyanti. Due to the flooding however, we have had to change our plans! We cannot get a site at Savute so decided to go via Makgadi Pans instead. We are hoping to camp at Khubu island, but are concerned about getting there in a day. Unfortunately we don't have time to stop over in-between. We leave Xakanaxa on 30 September. Please give your thoughts! Thank you

Dear Lisa,

Xakanaxa to Kubu Island (via Maun) is 446 km and Tracks4Africa says that this will leave you with over 11 hours of driving.
So I would strongly recommend changing your itinerary...
