David Dugmore (www.kalaharikavango.com) is planning to build a Pontoon to get his vehicles across the Boteti River. So in the near future Self Drive People might be able to use it ;)

He will charge you big time... :lol:

I read somewhere a couple of days back that the crossing is now complete. Pontoon can take one vehicle and one trailer at a time.
The cost from what I remember was not too bad.
