New ferry at Khumaga to cross the Boteti!

A new ferry across the Boteti River to Khumaga, Makgadikgadi Pans N.P. The ferry can carry one 4x4 and trailer at a time. Operating 7 days a week with opening and closing hours the same as the park. Fare is P120 per vehicle

UPDATE: Ferry at Khumaga to cross the Boteti...

The ferry will not be operational for much longer that a month according to the ferryman. The level of the Boteti has gone down too much. Going in the ferryman dropped us on a sandbank a good 20 meters from the riverbank because he could not get closer, the water is only about knee deep that we had to drive through to get to the riverbank. There is still a deep channel in middle of the river.

We've received news that the current rate for the Khumaga ferry is 120BWP...

Current fees Boteti Ferry is 130 Pula...

Current fees for the Ferry are P130 per trip per vehicle, extra P50 for trailer, return trip P260.
