Its truly a "green kalahari" at the moment ! the grass is long, the bush is thick and the road wet & muddy. We had some rain every day which didnt help tracking the lion any easier! We saw their spoor, heard them everynight (all night!!) but didnt see one! saw spoor of leopard as well, on the road by our campsite, but didnt see them either.
We were there from 17-22 April, and when we left, the road coming in was like a highway! couldnt believe how many vehicles were coming into the park. Although game spotting was limited in the thick bush, the plains (especially Deception and Sundays) was beautiful. Definitely worth a return trip!
