The roads to Khubu are dry and definately drivable,I spoke to the guys a few days ago while doing a booking.
We'll be camping at Khubu next month(11th May)

"For those who think it's not too wet at Kubu here is a picture of 2 vehicles
stuck on the "dry " route. We got out the Rangie and the Prado got himself
out. They didn't have appropriate recovery equipment..."

Some experience and good offroad driving skills are advisable. Use Low gear second or third when crossing the wet sections

Back from a whistlestop trip to Kubu.

It was hot. It was wonderful. And shared with good friends.

A few notes:

1. The road is now tarred all the way to Mmatshumo...
2. The fees as published on the official entrance sign are not correct. To
this should be added VAT and a conservation fee of P2 pp. Good wood
obtaibale at Kubu for P14 a generous bundle.
