Answer I got when I asked about the current accessability to Kubu:
Camped there on Saterday(December 4)night, rained about 200mm that night. We travelled from Gweta-Kubu and then south. Lots of water. We were 3 vehicles a 130 leading and fitted with winch and a Disco3 following with a Disco 4 towing a lightweight off road trailer. To say the least it was awesome, lots of mud and lots of water. Ntwetwe pan was slippery as hell even for the defender with the right tyres. As this was the first good rains the mud was not soft below but I don't know by now. Hope your friends are experienced and prepared.
It appears to be sticky...

Customers of mine reached Kubu on December 8. All went fairly easy coming from the south. Will they be the last ones this season?
