For those of you who are interested or may be planning to do this trip and want to know what the road is like, the attached pictures were taken on 12/13 July 2010 along the public road from Nossob via Matopi to Mabuasehube. My tips... Relax, stop along the way. Do the trip over two days. 200kms goes very fast when you are having fun! Don't worry about the dunes or sandy sections, all the dunes can be done if you keep your momentum when driving up. Definitely stay over at one of the Matopi camp sites...
