Although it's still very dry indeed in Botswana the green season will start eventually. Please share your experience here with us so all can benefit from this.

Cheers,
Hans

There is a watercrossing between Sankuyo and Mababe villages - but dont fear, there are at least TWO detours around the water, so you dont have to get wet. DONT attempt to drive through this water!! You will get stuck, it's muddy and quite deep, even though it doesnt look it! Andre is reporting tonnes of great wildlife sightings and the topography is turning green - a wonderful time to be in the bush! Come and visit us soon

Hallo
Someone can help me with information about road condition in more I and chobe?
I'll be in Botswana the first ten days of April.
I was in Botswana in May 2010and was raining...so we found a lot of mud and some road was closed. I was other time in Botswana but in dry season (November or July) and the road were useful (sometime sandy and bumpy but good).
Many thanks
Elena

View images of the current Third bridge status after the storm on the night of the 6th. Please drive with caution and go slow on Bridge as usual.
