Third Bridge will be closed from the 11 September 2014 till futher notice. information from Moremi Game Reserve South Gate Rangers

August 20:

Shortly after crossing the new bridge before Khwai wilage we encountered our first water crossing ever. It was obvious that the direct crossing was to deep, but slightly to the left there was another one which looked more promising. After carefully observing how few vehicles that came from the other side negotiated this crossing, we took out courage in both hands and drove into the water. At the deepest part water shortly covered the bonnet, but our Hilux had no problems pulling us out to the other side. Hurray!
