Sunday, 1 April 2012, Namibian time changes from UTC +2 to UTC +1. The time will change at 02h00 (AM). For practical purposes, set clocks back 1 hour (ie. from 02h00 to 01h00). Please ensure that clients understand this, and are ready to begin the day an hour later. Consultants are advised to check flight arrival and departure times as well as activity times and itineraries. Overseas consultants should note that all calls from outside of Namibia should be made 1 hour later and the Namibian lunch break will take place 1 hour later. The time will not change in the Caprivi, as this area is not subject to summer and winter time changes.
The time will change back to summer time on the first Sunday in September 2012 (2 September 2012).
