UPDATE February 14:

The road from the 2x4 parking area to Sossusvlei is CLOSED. Visitors can however walk to the Vlei...

Road from 2x4 parking to Sossusvlei reopened!

Due to heavy rain, Sossusvlei is closed from the 2X4 track on. This includes walking in.
