a few years ago we also went to Mukambi lodge. In Kafue.
A beautiful lodge not far from Mayukuyuku. Both very good places to be.

Last year we stayed at Leopard Lodge.
It is in the north east of the park and just on the park border so you do not need to pay park fees unless you go into the park.
You are however still in the wilderness surrounded by wildlife.
Very isolated and right on the Kafue River.
The campsite at the lodge is really lovely which each camp having its own ablutions and the staff servicing the camp all day.
Our hosts at the time were fantastic but I have heard that they have since moved on.
We really had a lovely stay there.
